Tangy Bunnys art music writing weird discussion links supporters me

Tangy Bunnys was initially a hard copy zine that I put out during my highschool and college years. I was extremely political, and for quite a while, I was headed in the direction of photojournalism. In total, I completed five zines and one mini-zine from my senior year of highschool to my senior year of college. Each zine was a compilation of articles, journal pieces, and photographs I had written over the year.

When I go back to read them now, I can see how I grew with each zine, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. Even though I feel far removed from most of the content, I know that that Elisa had to happen before this one.

My favorite piece, and one that I still reference for personal inspiration, was a mini-zine called "The Waiting Room" which was wonderfully naive and young, yet also suprisingly insightful and timeless in its message. I wrote the article during my first semester of college in response to the discontent (mixed with apathy) prevalant on my college campus. With my 18-year-old "know no boundries" freshman attitude, I put over 500 of those mini-zines all over campus to "spread the word". I actually received some pretty positive feedback on it, but like all other college campus issues-of-the-moment, it was buried and forgotten within the week. Here it is for your perusal.
